Breakout Tracks

Trusted AI needs Trusted Data: Seizing the GenAI Opportunity

Organizations are embracing the promise of Generative AI by taking advantage of Large Language Models (LLMs) to automate and inform decision making. The companies that will win are those that are able to blend public and private data sets to build their own LLMs. In this context, trusted and governed data becomes key. Join this session to learn why data intelligence is a key enabler for delivering on the promise of GenAI and preview how Alation will embed GenAI.

How to Assess your Organization's Data Maturity

Building data intelligence requires not only the right technology solution, but critically, the right people and process solutions as well. This breakout will provide an overview of how to assess, and grow, your organization's data maturity using Alation's proprietary model.

Calculating the Business Value of Data Intelligence

To secure budget and show success, data leaders must be able to articulate the business value of their initiatives. In this session, we will share Alation's business value framework that includes ready-to-use formulas you can implement to calculate the business value of a data catalog, and case studies demonstrate how data leaders have used this framework to secure executive buy-in.

Active Data Governance: Explained by a Customer

In today's data-driven landscape, organizations face immense challenges in effectively managing and governing their data. In the past, data governance was positioned as defensive first to mitigate risk and often overlooked the offensive side of guiding people to the proper use of data. This breakout session explores how a customer adopted a federated, people-first approach to empower data consumers to get the data they need, find the answers they seek, and move the business forward. You will learn how this approach enabled the customer to establish, optimize, and innovate with data.

Alation Open Data Intelligence Platform

The power of Alation lies in its open architecture. Using our Open Connector and Open Data Quality Frameworks, this approach helps to unlock a myriad of solutions. Integrations with third party tools including data classification, data access, and data quality provide the flexibility to build your best of breed data environment. Join for a deep dive session, featuring a customer speaker, as we provide a hands-on product demo.

Alation Cloud Service: Customer insights and best practices

Join this session to learn how customers leverage Alation Cloud Service's cloud-native capabilities to gain efficiency. Hear customer insights about faster time to value and best practices for moving from their on-premises instances to Alation Cloud Service. Discover how a customer is driving innovation while at the same time removing administrative overhead.
